Windows PC won't recognize phone...

Any Help? This is frustrating. Never had this problem before with any of my previous phones

What have you tried so far? When you connect via USB, are you swiping down the notification panel and tapping the USB icon to make sure MTP is selected? Have you already tried a different USB cable, or a different USB port on the computer?

My previous phones did not require permission upon connection, so this had me stumped for awhile too.

1. Connect to pc via USB
2. Unlock phone if lock screen is on
3. Swipe down from top for notifications
4. You should see "USB for charging" - click on it
5. From "Use USB for" menu, select "File transfers" option
