Wiping Encrypted Phone with no screen

My wife dropped her N4 that was encrypted due to required settings for accessing school e-mail. The screen is no longer working and we have been unable to find a way to access anything on the phone due to its encrypted status. We are hoping to sell the phone to someone who can replace the screen, but would like to wipe it before selling it. Is there a method for doing so without being able to see the phone screen or interact with the touchscreen?

Thanks in advance!

Can you see the screen and just touch doesn't work? If so, you should be able to use the hard keys to get to fastboot and flash the stock images... if the screen is completely dead, and you are fairly comfortable with fastboot and the device is unlocked already (you need to touch the screen to unlock if I remember correctly), you might be able to watch some Youtube vids and follow the steps and do it without a screen (you can confirm each part with fastboot), but this is not for the adb newbie... Otherwise the best bet would be to get the screen replaced yourself, wipe it, and then sell it.

Then again, If it's encrypted it also has a screen lock, so the chances someone could access the data are slim to none, they would just wipe it after they screen installed to be able to use it. The risk is minimal, depending on what kind of data you had on the device.
