That means it is waiting for final approval from the carrier. We cant ship it until they give us final approval, pending their review.

Any idea how long "pending order validation" should take? The order was placed Sunday.

Hey everyone, here is the most recent post about the preorder for this phone for Sprint that we have on our FB page:

Well, here we go again. We’ve just been notified that the Samsung Galaxy S III is being delayed. We made you a promise that we’d keep you updated on inventory information so we wanted to get this out to you just as soon as we received notice from Sprint. As of now, Sprint is informing us that the new release date will be June 28th. If for any reason this changes we’ll be sure to let you know. The delay is affecting all national retailers, both online and in stores. We don’t like delays any more than you do, but wanted you to hear the news as soon as possible.

just wishful thinking here but is this delay applicable to both the 16 and 32GB models? maybe this also only applies to the general release orignally scheduled for the 21st and not the pre-orders (since samsung may of only had enough stock to fulfill pre orders)?

All they had when I pre-ordered was the 16GB Blue. That made my choice easy.

Well shoot. I guess I won't have it for my trip to LA next week.

I was hoping for a GPS that works. Last week I was driving down the highway and my epic4g decided that navigation wasn't fit for memory and just closed it. It look me 10 miles to realize the thing had stopped giving me directions. lol.

Hey, unfortunately, we have not gotten any more information regarding this phone since I posted about the delay. I promise you that as soon as I have any information, I will be sure to post it.

Hey Everyone, we just posted the following message on our Facebook page from our CEO regarding this phone launch. I wanted to keep you all in the loop!

**Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III Pre-Order Update**
We have heard many of the same rumors that most of you have heard saying that July 1st is the latest launch date for the Sprint GS3. We have, however, been told by Sprint that this is still a tentative date. We have received confirmation that we have GS3 inventory in route to our distribution center. Although this does not make it official, we are feeling good about the 1st as a launch date. For those of you that have ordered this fantastic phone, you will love it!
