Wireles charging

Hi I have a droid turbo 2 with a incipio performance 5 layer protection case on it
I purchased a wireless charger and my phone won't connect to it, do I need to remove the case for it to work?

That sounds like a pretty thick case lol. Wireless charging is very near-field and won't work with anything thick in the way, even a very thin cases sometimes have a hard time. You will likely need to remove it for it to work.
