Wireless Charger/Charging

I received my new Pixel XL and love it. However, it wont work with my existing wireless charger, and I thought I remember reading this phone supports it. When I look on Amazon I don't find much on the way of a wireless charger for the pixel. What should I look for in a wireless charger so that I get a decent one, and does anyone have any recommendations? I was hoping for one that charges while standing (like a dock) but its not a requirement.

The Pixel does not have wireless charging. However there is an option.

I ordered it for my Pixel XL when it Arrives. It works fine when testes on my friends Pixel XL but it doesn't charge as fast as The plug.

I tried a similar one but sent it back. The right angle of the plug make it kind of difficult to dig out of the USB port , unless you are going to leave it in a hundred percent of the time.

ahh I see thanks for the info. So bizarre that they didn't include this as I thought it was kinda standard on newer smartphones now...

They rushed out the Pixel to get the Note 7 people (Me)! No waterproofing either.

I don't see the point. Just use a charging dock. You have to plug something in to the USB port either way, and with a dock you don't have to worry about an extra piece of hardware attached to the back of your phone......

I received this today and installed it on my XL with the Spigen ultra hybrid case... works like a charm! There is a slight bump in the back of the case, but barely noticeable and no issues blocking the finger print area.

I will never understand the fascination with wireless charging but I can't speak ill on ppl wanting it included bc i'm the same way with ir blasters
