Wireless charger for S5 with regulation?

I bought a nice wireless charger for my S5 about a year ago, but it overheats the battery. Doesn't anyone make one that can somehow talk back to its base and tell it when to stop, when the battery is charged?

Now my screen is separating from the phone case. <SIGH>

The phone screen is separated and coming out of the case, and the back was bulging so I opened it and found that the battery is bulging from the heat and causing all this! This unregulated charger is destroying my phone!

My Galaxy S5 battery after the charger overcharged and overheated it, at various times, for many months. It was bulging the screen out of my phone, until I just replaced it, then the screen fortunately returned to normal. This was from a wireless charger, which I STILL think is a great idea and convenience, BUT they need a voltage regulator on the output, to stop charging it when it reaches 100%. This battery could have exploded!

I've been using my ZENS bedside charger and ZENS car cupholder charger ever since I got my S5. Heating is normal for wireless charging but mine has never caused me any of those problems.

I have three QI wireless charging pads, and two S5's, at home:
1. No name, flat charger in the bedroom.
2. Itian, tilted charger on my desk (great angle for viewing).
3. Energizer, flat charger in the kitchen.
I have been using these on my phones since the S3 days, and have never experienced the problem that you have. All wireless charges will cause heat, but they should shut down when fully charged.
I would suggest changing your charger...

Need whatever I buy to say that it has a regulated output and stops charging after the voltage is reached, to be sure I'm not wasting money again.
