I threw my Note 8 on the wireless charger at 50% and when I woke up it was down to 21%. Thought it might be the charger so I threw it on the Samsung one that came with the phone after a reboot and it dropped 2% in 10 minutes, faster discharge than if I just let the phone sit on the table. Any ideas that might have happened?

i think fast charging mode is not working. Try changing charger cable for a better one and if that doesn't work try other charger

GL!

Are you sure the wireless charging is working at all? Do you get any indication that it's charging? Does it charge normally when you plug it in?

It did light up and say it was charging, but not any more. The charger works fine with my wife's Note 8 but mine doesn't even turn on the light any more. Guess I'm done wireless charging with this phone.

only time my note 8 did this was when something was running in the background. It was after an update but it could have been just a coincidence. I rebooted, deleted system cache and it was okay after that.

I've done all that and nothing has changed, I always charge my phone fully and turn it off every night and shelve it. Today when I turned it on it was at 92% so something must be wrong with the phone.

did you go into settings and check device care? maybe something there will give a hint as to the problem.

I also realized that Samsung Pay isn't working anymore, must be a hardware issue. I will try a factory reset in the future and if nothing changes I might look at a Pixel 4.
