Wireless Charging Question...

I have the Samsung OEM Wireless charging pad and a QI receiver pad set up...

With my S3, I was able to charge through an Otterbox case. With the Note 3 and a UAG case, it isn't able to charge without connecting/disconnecting. Is this an issue with the receiver or would a new charging pad make a difference? I was already looking at the LuguLake...

I think it depends on your Qi pad. I am using one of the Nokia ones that ATT sells, and my phone will charge if I put a second case between my phone and the charger. I'm not using an UAG case, but I can't imagine that it is thicker than that.
