Wireless Charging Receiver for Mate 10 Pro

I saw an article on CNET on wireless charging receivers.

Yeah, I know the Mate 10 Pro has rapid charging, but if I were to get a wireless charging receiver... would it be safe to use with the Mate 10 Pro.

The Mate 10 Pro charger is 4.5 V/5 A.
The wireless receiver has an output of 5V/1A (Max).

I was never good at high school physics - is the wireless receiver okay for the Mate Pro 10?

The phone draws as much as it's designed to draw - up to the limit that the charger can supply. The wireless charger won't charge the phone as quickly as the plug-in charger, but it's safe to use with a wireless charging pad (which you have to buy separately), and the wireless receiver is safe to use with the phone.
