Wireless charging speed?

If I'm not mistaken the current Pixel 3 charges at just 5 watts unless you purchase the Pixel Stand, then it charges at 10 watts. Anyone have any idea if this will be improved or unlocked so we can use "generic" wireless charges to achieve the faster speeds?

If the "generic" charger is only capable of producing 5 Watts, there's nothing to "unlock". It's not some "don't use the full power of a 'foreign' charger setting", it's that a charger not capable of Power Delivery 2.0 can't supply enough power.
