wireless charging

I used a wireless charger for a bit, but since I use a case all the time, it was a pain trying to get it perfectly situated on the pad. Plus, the phone got a bit warm while charging. I think I'll just stick to regular charging.

I've been able to use wireless charging with an Otterbox case on one of my devices. But I think the shape might be the factor. It wasn't a device with a curved back.

I didn't have an Otterbox Case like Laura but I did have a Spigen one and didn't notice any differences versus no case when it came to initiating the charge / continuing the charge.

I don't think the nexus 6 gets any warmer on a wireless charger than with a quick charger (all we have in our house).

Maybe not for you, but others and myself have noticed a bit of extra warmth using a wireless charger. I paid a lot for my Anker Smart IQ charger and cables (most say the best you can get) so I might as well use it. My wireless charging pad is now retired. I'll probably give it to a friend that has a Nexus 7.

I just make sure to plug it in straight, and pull it out straight. And not put undue stress on the connection point while charging.
