Wireless charging??

FRUSTRATING!!!!!

I absolutely cannot stand my Samsung standard Qi wireless charger and wireless charging experience!!!

I cannot confidently lay my phone down on the charger at night and know what to expect in the morning... Sometimes I wake up to a 95% charge...other times, I wake up to a 45% charge... The inconsistency drives me completely up the wall and I refuse to use my wireless charger anymore. It is an unpredictable waste of time...

I wish I had the confidence to know whether this is a charger issue...or a phone issue...

It's a charger issue. Try another Qi charger. Then you'll know.

I have three of the samsung ones and no problems but how slow they charge. But they are all on the larger 5 port power bricks like ankey and ankor. so maybe test it with a different power source. will the fast wireless charger work on the s6? and ti s supposed to be as fast as using the charger that comes with the s6?

Like some others here, I have just got the Spigen wireless charger featuring 3 coils. After 3 days I can say this is one good charger. Once it reaches 100%, it seems to shut itself down as I don't see any light coming from the front. I put it on the charger at night when I go to bed, the next morning when I take it off, it is at 100% and no heat. It does not fast charge, but that's not a concern since it's fully charged in the mornings. I do have a Ringke case on the phone, no issue with it. There are other chargers obviously made by the same company, as they all look the same, just slap their name on it and that's it. The Spigen was a couple bucks more than the other ones listed on the bay. Don't think I'll even bother with the Samsung fast wireless charger.

Interesting that the charger claims to be made only for the Note 5 and the Edge+

Amazon.com: Wireless Charger, Spigen® [Wireless Charging Pad] 3 Coil Charger [F300W] Premium Wireless / Qi Charging Stand Only for Qi Enabled Phones Galaxy Note 5/Galaxy S6 Edge Plus/S6/S6 Edge/Tablets Only - F300W (SGP11480): Cell Phones & Accessor

I wonder what makes it so special? I am sure it is special too...why else would Spigen limit their sales opportunities?

But it doesn't claim adaptive fast charging either... Interesting... I really do wonder what makes this so special that it should only be bought by Note 5 and Edge+ owners...

I was having issues with my samsung wireless charger, so I bought a brand new TYLT and still have an issue. Placed it on charge at 5% woke up to 77%.. lifted it off then set it back down and then it charged to 83% then beeped like I had just re-connected it.. I was doing this caseless I'll re-try with a case tonight.. its weird though bc for the first week or 2 it worked great with the stock wireless charger

So what is the problem with the new charger? I can't discern from your note..

The new charger is still not fully charging the phone overnight and the new charger i watched the phone go from the black screen to wake screen and make the charging sound..

I have now received the Anker PowerPort Qi Wireless Charger (see my post above for Amazon link) and my initial use of it shows that it charges the Note 5 without any issue and keeps both the charger pad and the phone at room temperature throughout the charging cycle. I will give it an run tonight with the battery drained down farther before putting it on the new charging pad.
