Bought a new note 8 about a week ago when 2 days ago it stopped wirelessly charging. Exchanged it for a new one today, same thing. Any ideas?

i'm definitely putting it on correctly, I even tried it horizontally. I have tried different wires and adapters but I will try some more I guess. Samsung support is saying it has to be a samsung wireless charger, that it cannot be senseo.

is it making a noise when you put it on the charger? any response at all?
also, did you check that you had wireless charging on under accessories

so i picked up a samsung wireless charger today ($80 freaking bucks) and it says wireless charging and wireless fast charging depending upon the setting I select but the battery still does not increase.

I had a few issues with Wireless Charging on my Galaxy S8's then again on my Note 8. I have a few very cheap Fast Wireless Charging stands from Amazon and they would always give the notification "Wireless Charging Paused" a second or so after placing them on the stand. I tried a few different combinations of fast charging bricks and USB cables until I would ones that worked. Sure it was an old LG one from the G6 that worked best for me. The old, big iPad brick also worked but wouldn't fast charge obviously. The supplied Samsung ones NEVER worked

I have both S8+ and Note 8 and both are finicky on how they operate with the Samsung wireless charger.

When I originally got a Samsung fast wireless pad I had the S7 Edge. The wireless charging worked sometimes but not other times, mostly not. Since I was beyond the Best Buy return period, I contacted Samsung. They replaced the wireless charger and the new one worked great with the S7 Edge and now with the Note 8.

I recently got an Anker wireless pad. That works even better than the Samsung fast wireless charger.
