Wireless Fast Charger

Hi everyone, newbie here to the forum. I placed in pre-order for the S10+ yesterday and am starting to look for a wireless charging pad. On Samsung's website, it listed the fast charge wireless charging stand 2018 version for $69.99. Will Samsung come out with a 2019 version? Is there any other wireless fast charger you recommend?

Yes that one is the one I want I saw it on the website too. I didn't know Best Buy would have it. The older ones come in 2 styles a round pad duo and a stand duo I prefer the stand duo and wonder if they will come out with another one I just bought 2 of the new stands also because my old ones were not USB x C. I got one from Samsung 20 bucks off on sale a few weeks ago and one on Amazon which ended up being 17 bucks after Amex reward points.

I know they will still work good but I would prefer to try to sell them and have all 2.0 ones now. I only see fast charge 2.0 on the duo but I am going out of town soon and that will be great for me to take with me. Best Buy says in stock ships 3/4 Samsung said ships 3/22.

Yes, I read Fast Charge 2.0 is just as fast as wired. I thought for some reason the wall plug was going to be different and support a faster charge also but read it's the same one but is supposed to still charge a little faster. I guess will see. I just have a couple extra chargers and if was a different wall plug I was going to want a couple extras now I won't need extra chargers. And yes the new wireless stands I just bought will be fine for now I just wanted them to be USB x C for when I need to go faster and wanted to just unplug from the back and just plug into phone. That's why upgraded to usb c ones.

Best Buy girl had told me it looked like a different wall plug. I though that our fast adaptive ones now supported QC 2.0 and that the new phones were going to be 3.0 it confused me too. I have an old external battery that says QC 2.0 on it. But it's not USB type C and I just got these new ones from Samsung on sale that are USB type C doesn't say which QC it is but I've seen some on Amazon like by Anker that say 3.0. I always thought way back that 3.0 just meant USB C I never really understood. But these new ones I just got from Samsung that are USB type C do charge my phone faster than my old one which I am guessing has to do with the Type C cable I don't know.

But yes the 2.0 does refer to wireless charging I knew that and they say it will wireless charge as fast as wired. I still am a little confused about 2.0 and 3.0 but maybe 30 does refer to USB type C I don't know that's what I thought back when I went from my 7 edge to the Note 8 and having type C for the 1st time. I just can't wait for this phone!

I saw the Anker 10 W in a article said it's $22 I forgot how fast our new phone charges how may watts will it do 15? I haven't seen a 15 one yet but that would be good to get. I am going to get the duo for now I think with my Best Buy Gift Card if it's in the store when my phone comes in. I am told probably not tomorrow since I ordered the pink it's not in yet and my cases came yesterday. :-(

So it doesn't come with the wall adapter? I thought I read on the 2.0 fast charging like on the DUO one Samsung is selling you need to use a different wall charger to get the faster wireless charging?

Yes, in specs at bottom it says :

Oh so the regular Samsung fast adaptive charger will work? I have an extra charger from Samsung that came with my DEX when I got the Note 8.

Super helpful! So how do we get access to this? Does the fast charger that comes with it provide the extra juice and, other than the Sammy double pad (with the large and small circles), which wireless chargers provide the 12w?
