with the new update does it enable the wireless n or is there some way to do it without rooting

general consensus is that it does enable 2.4ghz wireless N (same as iphone and other devices with N unlocked)

definetly confirmed!
I switched my router to "N" only and my EVO saw it and connected to it!

I would love to switch my router to N only but I have other devices that are only g

I only switched it to test the EVO..... I put it back to "multi" mode.

I just looked and the there is only one device that is using n mode and its got to be the EVO
