Wireless powershare

I tried charging my watch using powershare while I was charging my phone and in the morning watch was not charged nor was the phone. I tried charging the watch after the phone was charged, came back watch had no additional charge, phone charge went down 25% and watch was hot. I reset the watch and tried again and it charged, so that problem was fixed, for some reason the watch was acting up.

Question, are we able to charge something with power share while charging the phone?
I believe you can..

i haven't used it much but it is very handy to have if you have a Galaxy watch or earbuds. Alway have my power bank and phone charger so never need to worry about being able to charge my watch, waiting for them earbuds to arrive

I keep a phone charger in my purse plus a power bank too but charging the watch in a pitch in an emergency is nice to have. I haven't tried it yet though.

No intention of using except for emergencies. Good way to kill your battery longevity.

I think Samsung would of put thought into this knowing people going to use this feature , I dont think there be a problem or degrading battery .

Sure if you keep your phone 4-5 years. You use your phone as you see fit and not worry about your battery long term

4 or 5 years is a ridiculous amount of time to keep a phone without replacing a battery which most people don't do.

I do use it as I see fit. Just don't think using it to charge other devices on a regular basis is a great idea except watches and ear buds. I'm referring to using it to charge high capacity items like other phones

Of course yeah for phones it's more for emergency where you have no power and need a quick boost to last you. For buds I think makes the most sense

So I just noticed, didn't notice it before, a blue light comes on when power share is active and a red one when it is charging. to the right side of the Flash module. Looks like the Heart Rate Sensor is being used.

Charging my watch before the Lightning playoff game tonight. Whoop!!! #GoLightning

Yeah it came with March update

Now if they can just figure out how to add a notification light that would be awesome. I tried to use the powershare feature and it just took way too long to charge my frontier. And it got a bit warm also.
