Wireless Printing

Hello everyone! I've had my Tablet for almost a week and still can't put it down. So glad I ended up caving on this!

Anyway, I have a question as to if anyone else has been able to get the stock wireless printing function to work? I have an HP Wireless printer and have it properly configured on the network. I am unable to see the device when I go to print from the Samsung stock options, however I can in fact see it using PrinterShare (from the Android Market). I'd rather NOT pay for something when the tablet is 'supposed' to have this built in.

I have the Sprint version and can't find in the manual where it says it'll only work with Samsung printers. I found one other forum that showed a manual for a Galaxy Tab that indicated only Samsung printers.

Anyway, I was just curious.

I have a sprint GT too and I have yet to figure this out too! I heard somewhere that is ONLY samsung printers to which I say PFFT!! who the hell has a samsung printer?!?!? I realy hope they get it together and release some sort of update or CLEAR instructions on how to use it! Ive also tried to register the thing for a week now and the samsung website is so ghetto, it always give me error messages!! I love my tab but this is RIDIC!

Ok try this if you have a HP E printer create a new contact in your Gmail and make the contact name HP Printer, use its email address in the contact info then save then just take your email from your Tab and forward it to the HP email addy in the contacts list.

I finally ended up getting mine registered by going to Samsungs page for their tablets, selected my tablet, then it gave me an option to 'register this device'. The main registration could wouldn't work for me either since it didn't allow me to populate most of the required device fields.

I tried the HP app from Market and it didn't work. I'll have to double check my printer to see if it's E-Print capable. That's an option, yes, but not truly wireless printing.

I kind of wish I knew someone else in the area with a wireless printer I could test it on.

Appreciate the advice though. :-)
