I see that the Fasnicate is capable of 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n but when i do a speed test (speedtest.net app) with my wireless on im only seem to get around 6 to a very low 7mb. i have 24mb internet and on all my other wireless devices im running in the upper teens to lower 20s. Ive tested the phone about 5 inches away from the router and still get the same results. My phone is rooted with no other special modifications to it.

Any help with this matter would be great

Thanks in advance

1. just because a device is capable of connecting to an 802.11n access point doesnt mean it is capable of utilizing all four spatial streams.
2. you most likely dont have a 24 mb connection. you probably have around 8 or 10 with power boost of up to 24. i dont know the ports or type of request the phone app uses, but its most likely not a port set to utilize power boost. i get about 8 myself.

Your internet speed is rarely going to be effected, or I should say limited by your routers speed. G and N series routers have limits far higher than residential ISP speeds. The appeal of having these higher speed routers is for internal network speeds such as media streaming and file transfers from one device on your network to another. Just because you have an N series router capable of a 1GB connection, doesn't mean your 20MB internet connection is going to be any faster. On the other hand, an 11MB B series router will certainly limit any speeds higher than that.
