Not on ics or jb, as far as I know. Most of the gb roms have the native tethering working. My tablet won't connect to ad hoc networks, but it connects fine when I use the gb native tethering. It's pretty much the only issue I have with CAI.

I keep a backup of gingersnap so I can restore it if I know I'm going to need thethering.

I had Infrastructure Mode running with Barnacle Wifi Tether on AOKP and bobs cm9. I know this to be true because I was able to network bridge my hotspot.
