Wireless vs cable charging

I am sure this is a old problem but this phone gets hot on wireless charger even at 10w. Yes it stops at 85% but still hot. Using the cable seems to produce a lot less heat at 15w. With all the heat with or without case surely this is not a good thing. What do you folks use and are you worried with the heat on wireless?
Thanks

I haven't found it gets any hotter than any other phone I've had during wireless charging. Always seems to produce more heat wirelessly.

Hot is a relative term, everyone has their own definition of what is 'hot'. My S10 gets warm when on a wireless charge. I'll have to see what my flip is like when I get it.

I had my Flip on a wireless charger for several hours this morning and did not notice any heat when I picked it up.

UPDATE: Not the same today, it got pretty darn hot after a few hours. I don't think I'll be using it anymore.

I use wireless 80% of the time, so I had plugged the direct port on the phone to keep dust and anything else out. This plug may not have allowed the heat to dissipate as easily. After removal the heating up seems to have eased up more or less like a normal phone.

Same! And I am using an ultra fast charger pad! But I do use the Sammy 25watt charge cube with fast usbc cable and that seems to be fastest for charging. Typically I can get back to 100% in a short time with the charger cube.
