Cell reception.

Hello all, I am due for an upgrade and would love to try a pixel phone. I've read all the reviews, and know about the processor and such. The one thing that I don't see a lot about is signal strength. I've read that pixels use a Samsung modem (ironic) and Samsungs is a Qualcomm modem. Does anyone here have any experience with weak cell service on the pixels? My job is in an area, where all 3 major carriers, don't have the strongest signal, so I'm a bit nervous about it. I would go with a 26 ultra for my other option. Thanks for any advice.

out of curiosity, what is your current phone and carrier? how has that device performed in the area of your job?

I have a s23 ultra. Used to get great 4g lte, but when they switched to 5G, it drops and slows a bit. Not all the time, but enough to be annoying. Now at&t evidently blocks the setting on the phone, that lets it switch to 4g only. I have no idea why, but they do.

If your in an area where all 3 carriers don't get a good reception any phone going to suffer but I would go Samsung , now pixel 10pro xl on T-Mobile is better than all pixels I had in past but I live where I get excellent coverage

The 9 & 10 series have been the best Pixels I've used as far as reception goes. I work in a pretty rural county and quite often find my Pixel 10 Pro on T-Mobile has better signal than my work iPhone on Verizon.
