Hello,
I am new to Android and tablets. I don't have a smart phone. Mine is, by all accounts, relatively stupid. And me, am dumber than my phone since I have no idea how it works.
Anyway, there is NO way I would use wireless without a VPN.
So, I am using a VPN.
Unfortunately, my VPN is unereliable so that I have to change servers at times.
To Edit a VPN I do the following:
1. From the VPN screen, touch & hold the name of the VPN profile.
2. In the dialog that opens, touch Edit profile.
3. Edit the VPN settings you want.
4. Touch Save.
PLEASE: Ask Google to create a "Save As" feature. So, once I get the VPN working correctly all I need to do is "Save As", give it a different name and server and be done with it.
Currently, without knowing where to find the "Save As" feature I have to "edit" an existing VPN.
Or, I have to create a totally new VPN where I can screw up any of the following attributes of the new VPN: password, username, server, and then I have no idea which one I muck up when I get the dreaded "Unsuccessful" or "Timeout" result.
Am I missing the "Save As" feature because I'm too stubborn to read the manual?
Thanks for letting me vent on my keyboard without which this would never have happened.
