With 4.2 you can disable more apps

You can now disable Google+, Google Movie Player and I think a couple more.
I definitely couldn't disable Google+/Movies before the update

Disabling Google+ was one of the first things I did after installing the 4.1.1 update, when I got my Nexus 7 way back in July, it certainly isn't new with 4.2.

Forgive my ignorance, but why would you disable an app? It doesn't remove it. The only thing I can guess is that it stops drawing RAM. Am I correct?

Also, if you disable a system app, can you enable it again and, if so, will it function correctly?

1. Hides it in the All Apps drawer.

2. Prevents it trying to sync.

3. Prevents automatic "Update available" alerts from the Play Store app.

Yes you can reenable it.
