With all the power of Google, why have they not designed a good alternative Music organizer?

Why is there no real iTunes alternative for Android? Do they figure everyone is just streaming now and don't WANT their music library on their phone?
With all the power of Google why don't they make the best android devices? 🪠

If you have a music library on your computer and you want to synchronize it with your phone try Media Monkey. It does everything Itunes does.

It will even keep track of your ratings and your playcounts.

They have an app for android that syncs with the one on your computer and keeps everything organized for you just like Itunes. Simply make a playlist for what you want synced.

It's the most Itunes like option. It's better as a music player than VLC as it can sort by album, artist, genre, rating and it also plays videos as well.

It's free, and you can pay for added special features like wifi sync.

Can it use my onboard music library? We have a remote cabin with no cell service that my old iPod was perfect at.
VLC uses that.

Google's business is search and selling the data collected to advertisers. Everything else is just a side hustle. Phones and apps are just an adjunct for placing their search engine in your face.

Let's be clear -- Google doesn't sell customer data directly to advertisers. Advertisers pay Google for ad space, and Google uses customer data to determine which ads to serve. It may seem like a small differentiation, but it's an important one.
