Or do like I did and hit up the marketplace here and snag yourself a nice one from somebody either running back to AT&T because of service in their area, or because they upgraded to a Tbolt. You will end up paying ~$200 for a nice one with no accessories, but no contract. So all you would have to do is add a line + options. I upgraded my wife from a moto droid, there are plenty of nice ones out there on ebay, check around.
