Is there an app that will allow me too see the date and time without turning on the screen by pressing the power button? Something like when I tap on the screen or move /shake the phone the time data will appear.

Settings > Accessibility > Dexterity and interaction > Air wake up

Turn on the air commands. All you have to do is wave your hand over the display.
