Without rooting, is there a way to use a bluetooth trackpad or mouse with the Tab Pro 8.4?

I was able to BT connect my Apple keyboard which works just fine, but is there a way to connect a BT trackpad or BT mouse to this? Kinda like those Asus Transformers, but would be way better Thanks!

I've only tried my Apple trackpads which didn't work. I don't have a BT mouse yet to try.

Would I also need an app for the mouse pointer to appear?

Android has mouse pointer support built in. I haven't specifically used a Bluetooth mouse on the pro 8.4, but I have used it on my Note Pro.

Yes Bluetooth mice work perfectly fine. When paired, a mouse icon appears onscreen, like a computer, and you can click, left and right, as well as use the scroll wheel functions

I was able to pair up my BT Motorola keyboard w/trackpoint. Works great. I need to tweak down the sensitivity on the trackpoint, but otherwise very nice.
