Are you using any 3rd Party SMS applications?

BTW, OP, what a wonky thread title.

nope, just the stock motorola messaging app. but i think i know what youre talking about, if you install a 3rd party sms app and fail to shut off notifications from motorolas app you would get duplicate notifications. the thing im experiencing is veryyyy rare. like ive noticed it 4 times since i got my DX on launch day and ive sent a lotttt of messages.

Yeah, that's what I was going to say and yeah, that does seem weird and pretty rare. I haven't heard of that before. You could try a factory reset if you wanted to.

We use the term wonky in America? I thought it was more of a UK thing?

it really doesnt happen enough for it to be annoying, but thanks, ill try a factory reset if it ever gets really bad.

haha and btw i cant say i hear too many people use the word wonky.

Wonky- heard it ,liked it, stole it, use it. I have now third party anything in my phone. But when its plugged ion and charging. The accuracy goes right out the window and it seems hyper sensitive.it takes so many more tries to get one word correct.

Are you using the Droid X charger, or one that came with a different phone (such as a Storm or Storm 2)? People have had some issues with the touch screen when using a different charger, as the specs are not necessarily the same.
