I use Android 4.4.2.
For some reason, I suddenly can't save images from my Chrome browser anymore. It was working just fine one minute and not the next. Here is what happens:
1) Browse website with downloadable images (i.e., Fail Blog). - under normal circumstances, if I want to save an image, I just choose "Save Image" from the pop-up menu that displays when I press and hold on a picture. It should normally automatically start the download and save it with no further action.
2) Now what is happening, is that when I bring up the menu for an image in the browser and click on "Save Image", it a new pop-up menu called "Choose an action" is displayed. This menu lists the following selectable actions:
Android System
Camcorder
Sound Recorder
Documents.
3) None of the actions allows me to download/save the image and I shouldn't be prompted with this menu in the first place.
4) I've rebooted my phone, but unfortunately, that did not solve the issue. I haven't installed any new application during that time or changed any phone settings. As I described earlier, it was working fine an hour before and now this.
Any ideas and comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
