Ok I've tried 3 times today so I could flash a new ROM and it won't boot into recovery. When I press the power button on the recovery option it flashes the HTC logo and then boots up normally. I have s-off and root so Idk what its doing. I wanna flash common sense v1.7 to my evo 3d so bad cause I'm in need of a new media player haha

Are you sure you have your recovery image installed?

Yea cause I've been in recovery before. I'm wondering if fast boot has to be unchekced under settings?

Or should I retry making a new recovery image?

Try 4EXT recovery if that was not the one you used before. Fast boot shouldn't have anything to do with booting into recovery.

you can always try adb

adb reboot recovery

So I just tried this method and my phone showed the HTC start up splash, then turned off and started up normally again... Getting super super frustrated. Could this be a wrong recovery image? or what would cause this?
