I've got the international version of the Note. It's rooted and running a Jellybam nightly.
I've been flashing roms on this forever and never had a problem, until today. I've just downloaded an update to the rom so went to boot into recovery (CWM). The phone restarted, the Samsung Note splash screen came up, but then it just went black. I couldn't even restart the phone. To do so I had to plug the charger in. Simply taking the battery out wasn't enough - which in itself seems odd.
I did a bit of googling and saw a recommendation to install ROM Manager which I did. What's odd is that both CWM and TWRP are both showing. I've never installed TWRP on this phone. To the best of my knowledge it's not supported. I used ROM manager to download and flash CWM to overwrite the existing one. Told it to use that for the recovery and rebooted into recovery. Same problem. Splash screen then blackness. Have to plug charger in and restart to get ROM to load the phone up.
Has any one got any suggestions on what can be causing it and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
