Won't call certain numbers

I've noticed this for awhile but always thought it was because of the ROM I was running at the time, but my phone sometimes won't make calls. I can't figure out if it's just phone numbers not in my contacts, land lines, or what, but I dial the number and it looks like it's calling but there is no ringing and no one picking up on the other end. Right now I'm trying to call a repair shop for my TV and it will not call it. I've reset the phone and tried 6 times, and it will not start ringing.

Has anyone else had this issue and did you get it fixed?

I'm running SyndicateROM Frozen but I've had this problem across ROMs.

I think it may just be the network. About a week ago I went to pick up my wife at her job and as I called her to let her know I was there the call wouldn't happen. No ringing, no off the hook timer, nothing. I reset the device a few times, did multiple battery pulls, nothing worked.

I ended up emailing her via my Kindle (Gmail works great on the 3G model). I should have just parked inside and go pick her up, but I was busy tinkering the phone to figure out the problem. Anyway, about an hour later I had no problem making calls. Anyway, I had that problem happen with my previous phone a few times (a Palm Pre - which I still love and would use if the darn thing wasn't crumbling; build quality on it sucked) so I didn't think too much of it when it happened.

I had this happen today, tried multiple ROM's still haven't gotten it to work. Did yours just start working again?

Two things...

1. Make sure all your contact numbers have a country code saved in them.
2. Update your PRL and Profile regularly.

I have noticed this as well and I think its something to do with the dialer that certain roms use or the kernal...

Definitely not the network, because it calls all other numbers except a few. What gives? A few minutes ago it was calling those same numbers, the boom, nothing.... I am going back to apple. Consistent and reliable.
