wont change my security lock from swipe(lg v20)

[Android Central Question]

was trying to using phone with work acct..and needed pin or password for lock screen(was using pattern) and when i was trying to do so kept getting the msg that lock screen wasnt responding/working...now security is swipe...and when i go to change it it asks for a pin(I've entered ones that it would be) an nothing...getting a little frustrating
