Wont connect to google server

Says errr try again later won't connect to Google server but I've logged on to other sites under good

That's usually because the local Google server is temporarily down. Give it a few hours. (Google has had servers go down for a day or two. Even Google isn't perfect.)

google assistant says "there's a problem" & itcan't send text messages. when I ask what the problem is, it says it's having problems with the server. am in Arizona, USA, using Pixel 2 XL , Android 9.0

Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?
