Won't connect to my homes Wifi router?

I've had my phone for a few months and we used to have another router which my phone would connect to. But this new router isn't working on my phone. It says "saved and secured" but when I hit "connect" nothing happens. I've tried turning off the router and my phone but it won't work. Any suggestions?

Have you reset the router? Maybe even have your phone "forget" the router and enter the password again?

It's probably a security setting on the new router. Turn security off (so that the connection is shown as 'Open') and see if your phone connects. If it does then you can re-enable security - just be careful what security level it defaults to; your phone may not like that particular setting.
