Won't download/install apps

My Lg g3 suddenly won't install any apps. It just sits on install all day long. What is going on???:-\

Are you sure you have data on? I know it is a simple question but sometimes that is the easiest cure

I had this on an old phone, what I believe I did is clear data and cache out of the play store and it fixed it right up. Might have to reenter your credentials but I am not positive...

You are correct. I had this happen to my S4 and Note 3. Clearing the cache and data in settings fixed it for both. And yes, you have to re-log in to Google services.

Hi Tenmousers, can you tell me what model, carrier and software version you are currently on? Are you connected to Wifi when trying to install the apps? Are you receiving any type of error message?^MA

I don't have Wifi where I am but it was downloading without it just fine one day. Then it quit the next. No error messages.

Yuppers! Google services goes haywire at times and it happens to all makes and models of phones.

This happens to me on a daily basis. I am forever having to force stop, clear data/cache, restart the phone then try again. For this and other reasons, I am deeply disappointed in this phone. I'll probably never buy another LG again. Never had so many issues with a high-dollar device before.

Brand new phone never used lgg4 before and not liking it i cant download apps either i called my provider they want me to download a ****load of my stuff on computer and reset k i have never had to do this with iphone it just did it easily. I dont have time to be transferring crap to computer

How do you clear app cache from google play store. I have an lg g4 and notbing will update or download. I have over 5 gigs available to update my apps can someone help this has been going on for a long time. I have restarted my phone but it wont work

It justs says downlaod pending

Does this happen on both wi-fi and mobile data?

Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select Google Play Store, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Download Manager. Now try again.

If that doesn't work, try going to Settings>Accounts-Google, select your Google account, and remove it completely from the phone. Then add it back again, and see if that helps.
