Won't make calls

I have been switching back and forth from my Moto X 2014, and my Play store nexus 6 for months. This weekend, I put the Verizon Sim back in to the N6. Data works great. Unable to make or receive phone calls. The Sim works flawlessly in the Verizon branded Moto X 2014. Please help! I need a bigger screen. Thanks!

Is your preferred network type set to LTE/CDMA? I recall someone having a similar issue that was fixed by changing their network type.

I tried that. Still won't make a call. I have the little phone symbol next to the WiFi indicator. Call will not go through. When people call me, it goes directly to voicemail.
