Won't take pictures

The camera button will press, the other on screen features will dim but it won't take the picture, put settings back at default and still no luck. Front camera won't either. But I can take videos and continuous shots. Anyone else experience this. I also restarted my phone and no luck.

from what ever phone I feel like using today.

It may happen that you are using camera in video-camera mode, please change it to camera mode and try taking photos.

Nope just standard camera mode. It's working now after I restarted my phone a 2nd time. I have no idea what would cause that
