Won't turn back on

I rebooted my Note 8 and it won't come back on. The blue LED is on, but it is completely unresponsive. I've tried holding down the power button (up to a minute) and nothing.

What else can I try?

Hey Nicole, encountered this myself. Try holding the power and volume down button for approx 10 seconds. This worked for me, the phone rebooted and I have been fine since.

I didn't know the Note 8 could be rooted? You can try to go into recovery and do a factory reset. I thought it read rooted. I'm tired and read it wrong.

Great news! Software can be finicky sometimes

Same thing occurred on my S8 Plus. Had to use the power and volume down button to reset it. As well.

I had the same issue with my note 8 ,it wouldn't turn on. I read the messages on the page of holding the volume button and the power button at the same time. It turned on in 10 secs.
