Won't turn on but has blue light

My Galaxy S6 won't turn on but it does have a blinking blue light. Through google, I have found out that this is due to the screen freezing and can be fixed by holding "power" and volume down" to do a simulate battery disconnect.

This has not resolved my problem. When I do this I get one of three outcomes.

No change. Screen stays black with blue LED and it does nothing
Phone boots to the S6 boot screen then goes back to black and does nothing. Here
Phone boots to home normally, but turns off after a few minutes (rare)

I think the charging is fine, once the blue light went off but came back on after I charged it.

I can't find my device name, since the phone wont power on and I cant open up my s6. Also is there a way of doing it without wiping all my data?
