actually these lithium ion batteries dont have a "memory" i did some research and they said it was good to only charge about 60% sometimes cause these batteries last longer on partial charges

Sad day. My phone is currently at my local warehouse - it arrived 20 minutes ago. I called 1800GOFEDEX to see if I could go grab it tonight, he said that normally I could, but since this package just arrived, it's still in the giant shipping container with 100s of other packages. He said that that facility closes at 8pm (40 minutes from now), but that if it makes it off the truck by then and if I could get there by 8, I could pick it up tonight. Unfortunately, I don't think they're going to unload that truck by 8pm.

So close, yet so far.

after waiting and waiting and waiting. it finally left memphis after being there for over a day. it finally made it tampa. since i am able to do as i wish at work i will be for sure hanging out at the house tomorrow for sure. after reading some of your tips. i did the google sync with all my contacts and that worked out good to get them onto my gmail contact list. since i ordered the incredible i have hated my curve 8330 more and more each day. tomorrow is xmas for most of us

someone mentioned in another thread that it's OK to play with it during its first charge...whether that's true or not is up for debate.

hey, i called this number a little bit ago - 1-866-338-7390 as i was frustrated with my current situaution. she was able to give me my tracking number even though the other lady couldn't even tell it shipped. i have not received tracking info via email and my status on the verizon page still hasn't changed. but the tracking number shows my Incredible is in memphis.

i'm not getting my hopes up about getting it tomorrow as it's been a fiasco but at least i think it's out there somewhere.

FedEx in my area will often accept a note taped to the door authorizing delivery with your signature on the paper. They'll either take the note with them, or just simply leave it.

You could try that.

Agreed on the marketing... But my point is if it's sooooo bad.. It wouldn't sell..and why would the care about another less dominant OEM...

As far as Google and it's move away from SD cards ... Good for Google... Not for me... Just as qwerty keyboards there's always gonna be someone out there who begs to differ from the direction of the masses.. And im happy i have one pretty big OEM still providing for my needs on android
