Word List in keyboard? Spell check ?

The words that come up as suggestions as I type are useless, or, no correct spelling is suggested. I have perused the forums for solutions, and they all say there is a submenu in Languages ans Input called My Wordlist. I can't find such a thing.

Is there a way to have my Galaxy S3 (SCH-R530C) provide intelligent choices if a word is misspelled? If there is a word list, how do I access it?

Check in the keyboard settings itself. I removed the Samsung keyboard so I'm not sure where it would be in that one but my Thumb Keyboard settings has a section for User Dictionary for any words I want to put in there.

I can't really help with the stock keyboard. I gave up on it long ago.
