Work around for Voice Dial

I'm a former BB Storm 2 user and have had my Incredible for a week now. I have looked over the forums and have not been able to find an answer about Voice Dial and Froyo. I can't get mine to work. I know you can do a work around and use the search button but it isn't always accurate. Does voice dial just not work on 2.2, am I doing something wrong? If someone can enlighten me I would appreciate it.
