Worked when I selected Applepay

So I went to Party City tonight to get my kids costumes. They had a terminal that was just a big digital touch screen looking type. It had a button for Apple Pay on it, I thought well lets see. Sure enough it accepted Android Pay perfectly and worked like a charm. The funny thing was it even came out on the receipt that I used Apple Pay.

Yeah, good to know that whatever token system Google is using must be a standard that Apple is also using. Or it just activates the NFC payment option on that terminal is all. It was cool to see the lady surprised that it works with an android device though.

Terminals that say Apple Pay really just means any NFC compatable device. Im assuming Apple Pay was the only one at the time they made that terminal
