Working at Verizon question

I'm not asking for any negative comments I'm just a kid asking for opinions because I love phones and I love working with them let me know what you think I appreciate.
Sorry, but all I have is a negative for you.
As previously stated, (note the comma) you do not know how to write a sentence. (note the period) You do not use paragraphs, commas, periods.
What did you learn in school besides texting?
When a supposed Geek says "I know it all", that Geek is dumber than a fence post.

It seems all you were taught was ignorance, if you would have read the previous back and forth conversation's that I've had with other user's you would have seen where I stated that I am able to write a well written paragraph and I should always write with correct punctuation even if its on the internet.
It seems to me you stereotype every teenager with your "What did you learn in school besides texting?" But I will be the more mature person. Thank you for your advice:)

Not trying to be mean, but it seems you tried really hard to use proper puncuation in this post, and still got it wrong. "'s" is used to show possesion, and you used it twice in the wrong context. You could try and say that your phone autocorrected, but in one instance it is not even a pronoun that has possession, its objective. If you were to work at Verizon, you could very well be asked to offer online assistance. If I were interested in ordering a service online and used the live chat service to answer a few questions, I would be entirely turned off if a corporate representative could not answer my questions in a well organized and properly composed manner. In fact, when speaking to representatives on the phone as well, I freqeuntly ask to speak to additional representatives if the original is incapable of speaking to me in a manner that is clear, fluent, and easy to understand. Anyway, you are not old enough to work at Verizon due to the binding contract required between the consumer and the company.

No offense, but it seems like you did try really hard to punctuate this post correctly. I too am a high school student, so I know how you feel. However, getting into arguments with other forum members over punctuation is just a waste of time. I am not well versed on the Verizon hiring process, but going from what other users stated, you wouldn't be able to apply until you're 18. I feel your pain and good luck getting a job, but the arguing is not appreciated.

It's not so much the spelling as it is the lack of punctuation. Good luck getting a job!

Just get your foot in the door now and work up to where you want to be. :)

This is very good advice. You could always try to work at best buy for the year until you turn 18, and once you turn 18 try and work in the cellular department. After some time there you would have job expierence enough to again apply at Verizon and stand a chance.

That's actually a good idea and my local best buy is currently hiring, I will check it out.

Also by any chance does anybody know if a resume has to be a certain format or order?

If you get an interview, make sure you use proper punctuation and actually use periods. Lol good luck
