I've tried on my cousins, my wife's and my tbolt and can't seem to get latitudes real tracking to work. I've had a storm before this so latitude real time tracking is new to me and would be sweet if could work.
We're all non rooted , had gps on, selected for 15 min duration... I look (they looked on theirs) and everyone confirmed that when they looked at who they were tracking, that the icons were not moving. I was on highway doing 70mph and they said I wasn't moving.
We all have it set to current location and not 'set' location. All our icons borders changed from blue to a hot orange (live) and we saw 15 min counting down also under users icons on map.

Is it just me? Am I doing something wrong?

I dont believe it does live tracking. Just periodic updates.

I researched some apps back after that post and have Glympse which does do live tracking, pretty well too. Thanks though.

Latitude doesn't do tracking. But Latitude can be left on 24/7 with no major impact on battery life.
Anything that does live tracking will eat the battery. You almost need to be on external power to do that.
