disclaimer: I have not tried this due to lack of time (and interest). If you do try this, please post your experience.

I am almost sure this is not a repost in here, but I might be wrong.

I am reading in aosp's rom thread in XDA that there is a flash player that works (not perfectly though) with their Vs (linky) . There is also a poster that has tried it with Reborn (linky). The thread where you can find the app is here:

Flash for x8 - xda-developers

Cheers.

Re: non-Adobe flash player

Its it or miss and extremely laggy but it does work.
tested on clean rom android 2.2

Re: non-Adobe flash player

Yeah it works but laggy. I see flash ads now and some flash video sites work. All on the stock browser and reborn

Great - I've updated the thread title. Basic flash is definitely useful. I wouldn't expect this to play videos flawlessly, but I have yet to test it with o/c'ed kernel and (ath3nos' ) CM7.

i tried it and it acts like its going to load a video and then the browser closes without any error. stock browser and dolphin hd. southparkstudios.com cnn.com youtube are what i tested with.
im running aosp cm7. time to flash another rom soon i guess.

I haven't tried this yet but from what i can gather i think that maybe its laggy because it takes up alot of RAM so using a browser that use's as little memory as possible (merian browser, opera mobile) may help it work better.

It works with the stock browser just fine when loading non video content.

What videos are you watching that you need 10.1 installed. I have never had a problem watching them. I watched them on syfy, fox, yahoo..ect? Just wondering before I install. What sites are you all going to? I am using the stock browser too.

sent from my Reborn Optimus

I am wondering if this is just for flash on webpages or if games that need adobe flash player 10 will work with this for example alot of the super Mario flash games in the market require flash 10 or i think there's a kontraband app that requires flash.
Note to blackops1125 I'd imagine they're talking about movie streaming sites that u can watch backed up movies like novamov videoweed putlocker loombo etc.. i have noticed on some it gives u a download link instead of the video player showing up if u dont have flash i know novamov and putlocker does
