I use MyFitnessPal for tracking weight and diet. On the fitness side I am using Trainerize because that's what my personal trainer uses for his clients. It's not a great app but does the job. I also have JEFit Pro which is what I use when I am not working out with a trainer.

My go to is Strong Lifts 5x5 and FitNotes to keep track of my workouts when cutting, bulking or at maintenance also good for tracking your training splits & exercises and progress during splits. I also use MyFitness Pal (but who doesn't) for macro calculations.

I use Garmin Connect to sync workout data from my Forerunner 645, and it syncs to Strava so I can share activities with friends who don’t own Garmin devices. You can also use Strava to track activities directly from the phone, but I find that carrying a phone while running is a bit of a pain.

I also use MyFitnessPal to track calories and manage my weight.

And carrying this phone would not be easy LOL if you were running. The bike ride went very well the app work flawlessly with this phone

For running I use the S3 Frontier. Not as good as the Garmins but I don't need that level of accuracy.

If I could pair an external HR strap with a Galaxy Watch, I’d probably ditch the Garmin. Optical HR sensors aren’t accurate enough to replace chest straps.

There is an app that claims to allow this but I am skeptical. Here's a link to the post on the Samsung forum.

Apparently it's just a watch face that has the ability to pull data from the BT HRM. But syncing the data seems clunky. Maybe Under Armour or some other big name will solve it.

You can try Pace Control app. It is mainly for runners, but the support for other sport activities is coming soon.

It has a very interesting unique option you can find attractive. If you like competing with your friends you can have a "remote race" against your friend who can be in a completely different place in the world. You run/walk/ride/whatever at the same time and the app compares your progress in real-time.

I've found S Health to be great. I use it paired with my S3 Frontier and couldn't be happier.
