Hey all,

Anyone else worried about scratching the back camera glass on the bump? Has anyone experienced any issues like this yet?

I am not an avid camera user, so I bought one of the cases that cover the camera altogether with a cool sliding door.... but I wonder if other cases which expose only lens glass would be just as good.

Thanks,
R

I have the base S21 but am constantly concerned about cracking the camera glass. It happened on day 5 with my S10 two years ago, so I'm paranoid about it now. I do like going with the thinnest case I can find, so my camera doesn't have much protection.

Yeah, this phone should be kept in a case except under highly controlled circumstances. I am very careful when setting the bare phone on a flat surface.

Just ordered the S21 Ultra, after my S20 back camera shattered by no fault of my own as the case had it where the lenses was sunk in, I am super leary anymore. Samsung after knowing it was an issue, basically said not my problem and left people to pay for their issue they already knew about.

My boy ask me to order him those Camera tempered glass protector for this iPhone 12 Pro Max. Two came in a pack so decided to use one for my Pro Max.

Lasted a week, I couldn't stand the look and annoying smudges. IMO it's gone too far, over protective.

A case is more than enough, which I use while at work. Again, naked in the house.

I've been using the Whitestone Dome back camera glass protector on my S21 Ultra and have been very happy with it.

Oh really you like it said it doesn't interfere with pictures? We decided not to use them and are set up to return them.

It doesn't interfere with taking pictures at all and provides good protection for the back camera.

Maybe we should have kept them? Plus I was worried it would interfere with my case. My husband's case is covered except for the lenses my whole camera is exposed it's all open. That's why I like the silicone case that came from Samsung. I may switch to it for a while.

I'm using a dBrand camera protection.

That's what I'm using. I got matte black currently installed and it looks like nothing is there. It matches the original look very well. I also got the leather texture and carbon fiber in case I decide to switch up the look. I didn't want the actual lenses themselves covered in any way after a disappointing experience with a glass lens cover on my S10+ . It was also difficult and risky removing that glass protector so I've been leery of them ever since.

I would definitely recommend keeping them, yes.

Those dBrand camera protectors do look pretty nice from the pics I've seen. Glad you are happy with your's.
