I currently have the Nexus 9, does a great job so far. I'm interested in everything the pixel c brings and wonder if it's worth it to buy. Do you think I will notice a large improvement in speed, battery, and efficiency? All thoughts and assistance appreciated.

I love my Pixel C. And it is plenty fast, I haven't had the Nexus 9 for a long time so I can't really compare. But I would say it's probably worth it to upgrade. The quality control on the Pixel C beats the N9 any day. HTC really screwed that thing up. The screen resolution is awesome. No light bleed and the speakers, although not front facing like the N9 are really pretty loud.

I miss my Nexus 9. I thought the Pixel C would be way better, and it is in some ways - USB C, awesome battery life, screen resolution, speed... But there are so many issues still - wifi disconnecting, hyper-sensitive touch screen, alarm sound not working (the worst problem when you use it as your alarm clock), widget drawer not scrolling... Considering switching back.

Upgraded from Note 10.1 (original, circa 2012). Works like a champ. Daily use. Great battery life. Super responsive, no freezes. Great wifi throughput (100Mbps +) on Google Fiber 1 Gb network. (Same wifi speed as I get on my Note 5 and Galaxy Tab A 10.1). Have had none of the issues cited in the quoted post.

Completely happy. Your mileage may vary.

I have both devices. I like the N9 because of the size, but the Pixel C is just a beast when it comes to everything else...better screen, bright as heck, loud speakers, fast at doing everything it is supposed to do. The Pixel C is significantly heavier, but with a battery that size, you get so much more on-screen time.

Are you on 7.0? If you are, you might want to consider enrolling in the beta program and see if 7.1.1 takes care of any or all of these issues for you.

Yeah, I'm not really encountering any of the issues either, especially not the widget drawer issue. Everything works very well on mine. I'm extremely happy with the Pixel C. It's the best Android tablet currently in my opinion.
